5 Music Marketing Tips to Get Fast Results

5_Tips_for_Music_Marketing

With so many artists out there, how do you get yourself noticed? I know how frustrating music marketing can be. You know deep in your heart that you’re as good or even better than many of those out there, you just need a break. But it’s not a lost cause as these tips can help you get on the right track.

5 Tips for Music Marketing

dollarspocketTip #1 – Classify Your Music

Start by classifying your music. If you want to be a rapper, then classify it as such so that you can start getting in touch with the local rap clubs, rap radio stations and rappers / producers in your local area. This will take time, but it is an essential first step in music marketing, and you need to be patient.

Tip #2 – YouTube Marketing

Post a video of yourself singing on YouTube. I don’t have to remind you how effective this can be. But don’t limit yourself to YouTube; you should create a Facebook page and Twitter account so people can reach you. Add your contact info as well as some biographical facts about yourself.

Tip #3 – Local Area Networking

Network in the local area and apply at the local clubs, colleges, small venues, join singing contests and even sing at birthdays. You will never know if the people there are musicians or even record producers, and at any rate, it will help establish your network. And while you’re there, don’t forget to always keep a demo handy.

Tip #4 – Collect Contacts

Create a database of contacts, not just of your fellow musicians and club owners, but also keep in touch with your fans. Post on your social network account the dates of your gigs and shows so they will know and spread the word.

Tip #5 – Get in Touch with Other Artists

Take the next step: once you have established yourself in your local area, try to get in touch with some well known artists in the genre you are in. Ask if you can open for them, as this can do two things: you will get exposure to a wider audience and also gain the confidence to perform before a huge crowd.

The suggestions that I posted above can certainly help, but I will be the first to admit that they are only meant to get you started. Because of this I went online and looked for a program that could get you to the next level, and one that I found that seems to work for many is Singorama.

What is the Superior Songwriting System?

Superior Songwriting is a comprehensive song writing and creative program from the same guys who brought you Singorama. Yes, it is Melanie Alexander and her team giving you insider tips and tricks from the rudiments of song writing all the way to the winding turns of the business of this industry.

This means that Superior Songwriting is a system that does more than just teach you how to tap into your inner creative. It is actually a music marketing system that will train you how to market the music that you write.

In my personal opinion, I believe that the program has all the necessary features. You will get a good grip on the fundamentals of writing. You will also learn how to make a living out of this creative endeavor, teach you how to market your songs, how to package your songs to delight not only your listeners but also the producers as well.

Recommendation

I highly recommend Superior Songwriting by Melanie Alexander.

This is the program for you if:

  • You have always wanted to write a song but you had to stop because you lack experience and technical know-how.
  • You tried song writing and you marketed your material before and the results were absolutely devastating
  • You’ve written songs but something seems missing and people are not resonating with either your lyrics or your tune
  • You feel like you’re stuck in the song writing business and there are plenty of times you can’t write a line even if you absolutely want to and need to
  • If that is the case then the Superior Songwriting system is for you. It is your exhaustive resource for everything about creating masterful musical compositions.

7 Tips for Proper Pitch and Key in Singing

female-singer

If you’re having trouble singing in key it can be very frustrating and I know because I have been there. But that doesn’t mean you have to live with it, as there are ways to improve your voice and achieve proper pitch. You may want to try some of these if you are having trouble.

7 Tips for Proper Pitch and Key in Singing

Tip # 1 – Chewing and Stretching

singer4Get rid of vocal tension by exercising your vocal cords and making exaggerated chewing motions, speaking or just singing random words. It will also help to perform some stretching exercises and also do some breathing exercises.

Tip – 2 – Breath Management

You should also breathe from your stomach. Think of it as a balloon filing up with your breath and then being released as you sing. This is one of the best ways to develop a proper pitch. One of the ways this can be mastered is by practicing deep breathing consistently.

Tip #3 – Posture is Important for Proper Pitch

Good posture is also required if you want to sing properly. Make sure you are standing up straight and keep your chest and shoulders lifted up. This is extremely important especially if you are just starting out.

Tip #4 – Train Your Ears

You should also train your ears to recognize the sounds of notes and then try to imitate it as well as you can. One of the ways to do this is to practice scales on your keyboard or piano and imitate it.

Tip #5 – Record Yourself

You may have heard this before but it bears repeating: by recording your voice you will learn how to analyze your pitch following your sessions. Always keep a copy of your recordings and compare them. In time that will help you achieve proper pitch.

Tip #6 – Tongue Management

If your tongue keeps flailing in your mouth your pitch will go awry so learn to keep your tongue set against your mouth’s bottom while you are singing. This can be difficult but you just need to work on this.

Tip #7 – Practice Every Day

Keep practicing singing every day as that is the only way you can improve. One of the reasons why people are not succeeding is the fact they give up too quickly. Just keep working on it. However, you must not overdo it. Give yourself time to relax and practice no more than an
hour or two a day.

I have to point that I have used these tips and they do work. However, I still felt that my progression was still not complete and that I can do much better. So id did a lot of research on the Internet and I eventually found this cool little program called the Superior Singing Method, which I believe can really help your singing.

What is the Singorama and how Will it Help me Get a Proper Pitch?

learn proper pitch with singoramaSingorama is an online vocal training system developed by 90s gold and platinum artist Melanie Alexander, a vocal singing coach multi awarded singer and artist. What struck me is that one of its modules actually explains how to improve your pitch. With Singorama you will learn how to develop your pitch and how to train your ear to hear pitching problems, vowel shaping, improving your tone and more.

I also went out and checked the reviews of the program as well as testimonials, and many of them have reported success with it. Jack Alba wrote on his blog that “thanks to Singorama I now have the confidence to sing” while Greg Randall wrote online that “the training videos really helped give me confidence to sing”.

As per these reviews and professionals, it seems that a lot of people have benefited from it and seen improvements with their vocals. I also watched some YouTube reviews from people who used the product and met success. It even helped people how to overcome stage fright.

Purchasing Advice

If you are interested in buying Singorama, you can get it from the official website. I would recommend that you go get this vocal training program now since they are selling it at a huge discounted price. It was originally priced at almost $300 but now they are selling the whole thing (software tools included) for only $49.

The offer is also backed by a 60 day money back guarantee. The Singorama team guarantees that you will see results in 60 days or less. If it doesn’t work out, you get a full refund.

Final Recommendation

After studying Singorama in depth, I have to give it a thumbs up. For just $67 it offers step by step instructions on how to become a professional singer, and not just on the proper pitch and key. Another reason why I have to recommend the program is that its creator, Melanie Alexander, is a vocal coach and multi-platinum awarded artist. She is the real deal and she knows exactly what it’s like being on stage and making the audience sing with her.

I also find the program to be comprehensive and the instructions are easy to follow. I also compared with similar programs and it is more detailed and easier to work with.

Good luck on your journey to proper pitch and a better singing voice!

9 Vocal Strengthening Strategies

vocal strengtheningIf you have ever felt that your vocal cords lacks power or you find yourself unable to sing on a consistent basis, I can sympathize with you since I went through that period as well. However, I was able to go through it by performing vocal strengthening exercises like the ones I have listed below.

9 Vocal Strengthening Tips

Tip #1 -Practice E-Vowels

Sit on a chair and say the vowels “a” and “e” as loudly as you can, and try to hold each one for as long you can without your voice cracking up. Repeat this five times and note down your progress; over time you will be able to sustain the sound for extended periods.

Tip #2 – A&E Vowels

singersmallerA variation of the vowel exercise is to say the “a” and “e” but push your arms down on the chair you are sitting on. Hold the vowels down for as long as you can again without your cracking.

Tip #3 – Higher Pitch

Try the vowel exercise again but this time say the “a” and “e” in a higher pitch. Say the vowels in a higher pitch than normal for as long as you can. Repeat this three times, and then repeat those vowels three times but at a lower pitch.

Tip #4 – Ah Ah Ah

Say “ah, ah, ah” as loud and as clearly as you can. Repeat this ten times.

Tip #5 – Breath Management

Practice breathing from your diaphragm as this will enhance your singing ability and also boost your larynx. Just put your hands on your stomach and breathe as deep as you can via your nose. Hold your breath for five seconds then exhale slowly. Repeat five times.

Tip #6 – Practice Vocal Strengthening Every Day

Once you have a feel for these exercises, practice every day for an hour a day. Once your voice is accustomed to the singing exercises, make it two hours a day.

Tip #7 – Take Breaks

Don’t forget to take breaks as they are as essential as the training. Do not strain your voice or risk damage. Taking a break from exercising once a week should be enough.

Tip #8 – Don’t Drink and Smoke

Don’t drink or smoke. Everyone knows that smoking is bad for your lungs and your vocals, but so is alcohol and other sweetened drinks. The best drink for singers and aspiring singers is still water.

Tip #9 – Yawning

Try yawning, and observe how your Adam’s apple comes sliding down. Hold your vocal cords at your yawn’s deepest part and count from 1 to 5. Now count to 5 and then restore your vocal cords to their regular state. Repeat this exercise for 20 minutes a day.

These techniques will certainly help, but during the course of my research, I found a nice little program that might be able to help, called Singorama.

What is the Singorama?

Singorama is a vocal strengthening program designed to teach you all 9 vocal strengthening strategies mentioned above and move. It is designed to help you improve your ability to sing.

Part of the lessons focus on strengthening your vocals using advanced techniques. The lessons will show you different methods for singing high notes without straining your voice. You will also learn how to increase your vocal agility—imagine being able to jump from high to low notes with ease.

Singorama was created by popular vocal coach and multi awarded singer and artist Melanie Alexander. She has put together all the lessons and training that she has received into a one of kind system composed of tools, lessons, and software apps for mastering your vocal tones.

I became interested in the program and decided to check out some of the reviews, and most of them are very positive. Sean Winston of Kentucky says in his review of the product that “it hasn’t just made my vocals stronger, but I’m also a better singer now”.

The same thing was said by Josh Williamson of Mississippi who wrote that the vocal strengthening modules on the Superior Singing Method “are simply the best I’ve tried’. A review at nbadraft.net plainly says that it is “your ultimate trainer”.

Based on these testimonials and also the other reviews that I have read, this vocal training program seems to be helping a lot of people reach their full vocal potential. Many of the reviewers have also pointed out the instructions are very easy to follow, and there have never been reports of anyone getting vocal strain following the system.

Advice for Buying the Singorama

If you are interested in buying Singorama, you can get it from the official website. I would recommend that you go get this vocal training program now since they are selling it at a huge discounted price. It was originally priced at almost $300 but now they are selling the whole thing (software tools included) for only $49.

7 Vocal Tone Tips for Fast Results

top vocal tone tips

If you’re having trouble hitting the right vocal tone, you’re not alone. I was having this problem too when I first started out. But I discovered that working on my vocal tones really helps. Here are some techniques to help exercise and work on my vocal cords.

7 Vocal Tone Tips

vocal tone tips for singers

Tip #1 – Abdominal Breathing

Practice abdominal breathing as it will help support and empower your voice, sculpting and developing your vocals too. This type of breathing will also exercise the Thoracic Diaphragm, a muscle that is found below your lungs. The more you engage this muscle, the better your vocals will be.

Tip #2 – Vocal Exercises

It is also a good idea to try different types of vocal exercises and work out different consonant and vowel shapes. You will also want to vary your vocal qualities, range, duration, tempo, rhythm and volume.

Tip #3 – Record Yourself

Some people don’t like to hear their voice recorded but it does help you spot those areas you need to work on. For instance, I recorded my voice and noticed that I needed to focus on my pitch and work on it.

Tip #4 – Working with Your Jaw

One simple way to improve your vocal tone is to drop your jaw as singing with a partly closed mouth can be difficult. By dropping your jaw your face will lengthen and the sound vibrations will proceed out, providing the nasal sound you want. The nasal sound that this will produce has a pleasant twang.

Tip #5 – Larynx

Raising your larynx will brighten the sound of your voice while lowering the larynx will “darken” it, so it’s a good idea to experiment with it to find the right combination that works for you. This may seem difficult at first but as long as you keep practicing you will eventually get the hang of it.

Tip #6 – Position your Tongue

You should also change the position of your tongue. For instance, bringing your tongue forward and touch the tip at the back of your bottom teeth will produce a clear sound. But if you pull your tongue to your throat you will attain a deeper tone.

Tip #7 – Sing High Notes

If you want to sing high notes, don’t shout as it will just lead to vocal strain. It is much better to release your vocals to get the notes. You know you are doing it right when you feel the vibration throughout your body. Properly done, your voice won’t end in your throat but continue right to your head.

While these vocal tone tips do help, you can only do so much on your own. I realized this which is why I looked for help. Unfortunately vocal coaches charge a very steep fee which is way beyond my budget. After spending a lot of time researching, I came across a vocal training method which seemed very useful and didn’t cost as much—Singorama.

What is Singorama and How does it help my Vocal Tone?

Vocal tone trainingSingorama offers a step by step approach to improving your singing ability. It helps you from learning the fundamentals of music theory to all the advanced topics. In fact, I have learned intricate topics like vocal tone, increasing the vocal quality, and how to add fullness and richness to your voice. There are also modules that focus on important aspects of singing like improving your pitch and singing high notes—reaching up to an octave higher.

I read many of the reviews about the program and the majority of them are very positive, such as product-investigation.com which says that “it (Singorama) offers a great way to improve your voice”. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that a lot of people have tried out the product such as Malisha Jones who said that the program is “very useful”. Based on the reviews alone it seems the program does produce results.

Advice for Buying the Singorama

If you’re interested in purchasing Singorama, I would suggest that you do it now. Why? Well, it just went on sale for only $67 down from what used to be around $300. This is a limited time offer.

Here are the things that you will get from the Singorama package:

Perfect Your Pitch Pro – this application will train your ear so you can get the right pitch every single time. This little nugget of a tool is designed to boost your singing talent. You will learn how to hear all 36 notes on the chromatic scale. Some have rated this tool as a game changer.

Singorama Mini-Recording Studio – this is a virtual mini recording studio. This software is another one of the many highlights that you will get from your purchase. This is a complete tool that will help you record yourself as you sing, listen to yourself, evaluate your performance, and then chart your progress as you learn different singing techniques.

The Ultimate Guide on How to Read Music – the ability to read music and understand the mechanics written down in a music sheet is no less than an indispensable skill. With this guide you will learn not just how to read the notes but understand the dynamics and other nuances indicated on sheet music. You can also identify certain points where you can tweak the musical piece to match your unique singing voice.

Final Recommendation

The vocal tips I mentioned can help improve your voice but I have to admit that you will need a lot more training and exercises to really turn pro. And that is where Singorama took me a step further. The techniques covered in the system are also very comprehensive and as many reviews have shown, they do work.

I also like the fact it doesn’t just focus on vocal tones but the entire package; your resonance, breath management, vocal range etc. Given its price it seems to offer real value for your money and it’s the next best thing to hiring a professional vocal trainer.

Payments can be made using major credit cards or PayPal and it comes with a 60 day money back guarantee. The Singorama team is really confident that you will get significant improvements in your singing ability within 60 days or less. If you’re going to buy this system, make sure that you do so only at the official site as there are pirated versions out there.

7 Tips on how to Perform on Stage

how to perform on stage

So you can already sing, but you want to learn how to perform on stage. Maybe afraid that you will make a mistake or your voice will crack. You may also feel that you just don’t have that impact or connection with the crowd. But don’t worry since nervousness hits everyone, even the best singers out there.

I used to feel them myself, but these tips helped me out. And in the process enhanced my presence whenever I sing in front of people.

7 Great Tips on how to Perform on Stage

  1. Learn the song you want to sing until you can sing it from memory. This single tip alone will eliminate a lot of the stress and make you feel more confident.
  2. Make sure you perform some warm up tones prior to going on stage, as this will mentally prepare you for singing. This will also help relax your body. One method you can use is to tense all the muscles in your body and then relax them.
  3. Sing as often as possible; this may sound simple but it is true. The more you sing, the more confident you will be regarding your talent and ability. Doing this will give you the confidence to interact with a crowd no matter where you are.
  4. If you are still feeling nervous, set your sights and attention on someone in the audience (i.e., someone you know) or perhaps just an object. By focusing on it, you will forget about feeling nervous.
  5. Many professional singers perform deep inhalations before they go on stage. This is something you may want to try out as well. This is actually something you should incorporate in your vocal exercises as well.
  6. Some singers like to use visualize they are singing in the shower, or they are alone, as it has a calming effect.
  7. Believe that you can do it. This fact alone will allow you to sing with power and interact with the audience, gaining rapport quickly.

performing on stageThese tips are quite effective for helping remove some of the performance anxiety and perform well. However, I wanted to look for a better and quicker way to help me. Not just remove performance anxiety but also how to command the attention of my audience. Over the course of research I came across one online course that could prove helpful, Singorama.

What is the Singorama and Will it Show me How to Perform on Stage?

Singorama is a vocal coaching program that includes instructional audio, video, applications, and handbooks and a whole lot more. It is designed by gold and platinum awarded Australian singer and performer Melanie Alexander.
Alexander and her team of musical specialists formulated a suite of tools drawing from her vast experience and training as a professional singer. What caught my eye about this vocal training course is that it taught me how to get the attention of your audience and get over the nerve wrecking tension of being on stage. At the same time it comes with a host of other features for training your pitch, enhancing vocal range, and more.

I was also impressed by the number of testimonials and positive reviews that the program has been getting. Ellie from Washington DC says the product is “very comprehensive and detailed”. While Jason from Kansas says that “Melanie’s program didn’t just remove my nervousness but made me a better overall singer”.

The sentiments of Ellie and Jason are shared by Todd Hodge who wrote in his review that: “the Singorama has the most complete guide for giving you self-confidence when performing live”.

Based on these and other reviews, it seems to me that this program is quite successful.

Advice for Buying Singorama

Recommendation

Following my extensive review of Singorama. I have come to the conclusion that this is an effective vocal training system, that works as if you have your own vocal training coach. In some ways I think it’s even a better option since it is cheaper and the lessons are very comprehensive.

Can Anyone Learn to Sing?

stage

Who says you cannot learn how to sing? Developing the capacity of your voice to hit high notes and bend along with the melody may be a long battle but if you fight hard enough, there is no reason for you to fail.

So, can anyone learn to sing? – I say yes!

Singers deem their voice as a gift, a special gift that they are born with. But singing is also very well considered as a talent, a skill. As such, anyone who is determined enough can develop this ability. Sometimes, it is just a question of perseverance. A great singing voice can perform well if it is honed or practiced.

Breathe from the Diaphragm, not from the Lungs

singer4We often here this piece of advice from singing voice experts but did you know what is the rationale behind it?

To be able to sing well, you need to control the air that you breathe: how much of it you let out and how much you leave out in your bank. If you are able to breathe from the diaphragm, you will have more allowances of air to work around with. Breathing from the diaphragm is all about inhaling from the stomach instead of the chest. Also, experts advice that you allow the same amount of air to be released when hitting both low and high notes. That will help you attain a steady tone and proper breath management.

Train your Voice to Hit Higher and Higher Notes

If you want to become a successful singer, you would not think about resting your laurels. Singing is all about pushing your limits a little farther every time. Make your voice accustomed to hit higher and higher notes so you will not have problems hitting the right notes within your range.

Care for your Voice

As much as you need to practice hard, it should not be to the point that you are already straining your voice. You have to be within your range. You have to care for your vocal chords because damaging them would also mean the end of your career. Make sure to go in a slow but steady pace. Give yourself time limit for practicing your voice everyday. Start with an hour to an hour and a half. You may adjust your time schedule if you think you can go farther. If you feel any pain or discomfort in your throat, you have to stop practicing right away to give your vocal chords some rest. Also, make sure that you follow care instructions for your voice. Staying away from cold and sweet treats is a must.

Accept Criticism Positively

In anything – whether it is singing or life – believing that you are made is the end of your progress. If you want to learn how to sing and be able to sing better, make sure that you know how to welcome criticism. Developing the ability to sing in a professional level does not happen overnight. In fact, it is a long and exhausting journey of hitting it right or wrong. If you are able to embrace judgment as people’s way of encouraging you to do better, you will have greater chances of reaching your goals.

Record Yourself

microphone2

You are your best critic. If you are able to listen to your singing, you will understand better what people are hearing from you and why they are saying what they are saying about your voice.

Seek Professional Advice

It is not enough that you know you have a good singing voice. As stated over and over, singing is somewhat an ability that needs to be honed. You can quicken and smoothen the process if you will seek help from the professionals who understand the technical side of singing much better. If you think a voice teacher would be way too expensive, look for available products in the online market that have the same effect but are far more reasonably priced.

Professional Advice in a Package

Singorama is an example of one such product. It is like a voice coach in a compact and complete package that will walk you through the process not just of learning how to sing but actually performing well on stage like a professional. There is a reason this product gets a lot of rave reviews in the market and continues to sell. It’s because it has been quite effective enough to deliver its promise.

If you have made the decision to buy Singorama, make sure that you buy the entire training package straight from the official website . They even offer huge discounts from time to time. In fact Singorama is on sale right now for only $67, down from the original price of almost $300. Note that this is a limited time offer.

Can Anyone Learn to Sing? – yes it is definitely possible. However, you need to be prepared for the load of work ahead. It is not as simple as telling yourself you want to become a singer. It involves a lot of work.

7 Breath Management Tips for Singers

tips for better breath management

If you’ve been struggling with your singing and want to learn how to sing better, I can understand what you’re going through since I’ve been there. But it’s not due to lack of talent on your part but more likely due to lack of breath management practice. Here are some tips that might be able to help you out.

Seven Breath Management Tips for Singers

1. Learn to breathe from your stomach as it will help you get the maximum air volume in your stomach. When you breathe in, push in your stomach and as you breathe out pull in your belly. This is important because the diaphragm determines how much air gets in or out of your lungs.

breathe like a singer2. Hold the muscles of your stomach so you manage how your breath exits your body. This is vital to reduce strain on your vocal cords and prevent damage. This can also improve your pitch and tone besides your voice.

3. Perform breath control without making sounds, as this is crucial for keeping your vocal cord vibrations down. At the same time it teaches you about breath control and how to properly control your voice.

4. Visualizing may also help, so think of your cords and see it as a volume going up as you exercise your vocals. Another option is to visualize your lungs as a repository of songs that you can sing, as that can also help.

5. During breath management, use “breath” marks for your music (usually a comma), and use that as a guide for you to take a breath and also to keep your tone consistent. The key here is to be consistent; it might prove difficult the first time but it does help.

6. Perform breath management no more than two hours a day and just an hour if you are starting out. Practicing more than two hours a day might actually damage your vocal cords, so avoid straining.

7. You might also want to exhale as you vocalize. As you do this, feel your lower ribs and upper abdomen move and exhale while saying “aahh”. This should not last more than three seconds. After exhaling, use a single breath and do not say “ah”. During these workouts, you should also learn how to breathe your voice out. As you do this, get a feel for how the body is supporting your breath.

While these management methods have been proven to work, they’re not quite enough to help you or me reach the next level. So I went online and did some research online, and one program that I found that seems to be working for many is Singorama.

What is the Singorama All About?

breath management trainingThe Singorama is an online vocal training program developed by Melanie Alexander, a vocal coach and a gold and mutli-platinum awarded musical artist. The lesson modules will concentrate on diaphragm breathing and breath management. Apart from that, this vocal training system will also steady and control your voice.

Doing that will enable you to sing with more power. The other lessons in the package will teach you how to sing high notes and expand your vocal range.

One of the reasons this program caught my attention is that a lot of people have experienced success with it. John Rainey of Missouri wrote on his blog that “the breathing exercises have really helped improved my voice”, while Brianna C Bult says that “I am just on module 2 but the improvements are immense”.

It’s not just aspiring singers who have benefited but also acoustic singers like Blake Randolph, an acoustic singer, who wrote online that he was “shocked at how much of a difference” it made. I also noticed that a lot of the reviews online point out how well designed the program is and that it is progressively arranged.

Advice for buying the Singorama

If you are interested in getting a copy of the Singorama it is available on the official website (see links below). The original price of this vocal training course is $295-which is pretty steep. But today they are offering it with a huge discount bringing the price down to $67.

You don’t need any prior musical knowledge to take advantage of the training and tools provided in Singorama. There is actually benefit from the step by step audio lessons as well as the tools and software that come with the package. You can monitor your progress – to see how fast you are learning and how better you have become at singing.

Singorama works well for singers of every age. The lessons and drills are simple enough so that even an 8 year old can understand what to do.

If you already have a vocal coach then great! Singorama is an indispensable tool especially in the hands of a vocal coach. It can be integrated with different kinds of vocal training system.

You can also save the vocal lessons and audio lessons as mp3 files. That way you can send the files to your phone and listen to the lessons as you go. If you get stuck in traffic or are on the train you can listen to a lesson or practice a singing drill while you wait.

Iron Clad Money Back Guarantee

Singorama also comes with an iron clad 60 day money back guarantee. The Singorama team backs up their product and are confident that you will see immediate improvements to your singing prowess in as little as 60 days or less.

I would suggest that if you intend to purchase Singorama, please do so only at the official site as there are bogus copies being sold today.

My Personal Recommendation for Breath Management

Those breath management techniques that I mentioned does work. But the modules in the Singorama just make it that much easier, which is why I have to recommend it. The breath management methods outlined in the program are easy to follow and actually quite fun to perform. I also like the fact that the package explains how you can market your music and also perform before a crowd.

The ability to sing really well is a matter of good training. If you master the technical side of singing, you will slowly sing and sound better. Do not put pressure on your shoulders. Instead, understand the fact that learning how to sing well goes through a process, slowly but surely. There is no rushing. After all, superstar status comes easily to those who are really great. If you come up on stage with an irresistible “greatness” factor, no one could possibly afford to ignore your talent.

A lot of people may not know but the voice is similar to a musical instrument. It is the instrument that is within you. That means, you have to learn to use it properly. You have to develop techniques on how to produce sounds from it. If you will treat it like a fragile violin, you will best understand that training your voice has so much to do with your ability to hit high notes.

Tips and Tricks

Now, here are some specific tips that will especially on how to sing higher notes.

Tip #1: Vocal Warm Ups

Perform vocal warm ups before training. Vocal training is similar to any workout. You have to give that target muscles (this time your vocal chords) warm ups so as not to strain them. Doing warm ups will also help you measure your voice range. Hum your favorite song or move from the lowest to the highest note your voice can reach without cracking and then back. Those two exercises are good for range increase.

Tip #2: Use Your Diaphragm

sing high notes easyUse your diaphragm liberally when breathing. It has been said again and again but we believe proper breath management cannot be stressed enough. When you are training your singing voice, you need to put weight on learning how to breathe from your stomach and not from your chest. Your diaphragm will give you more reserve air than your lungs, which will make it easier for you to control the amount of air that you expel. Working around a bigger reserve will help support and empower your vocal release.

Tip #3: Improve your articulation

Improve your articulation. This is a common problem among singers that is left un-addressed. The problem with articulation can break your performance, whether you are singing low notes or hitting high notes. Exercise your lips, teeth, and tips of the tongue by making them do exaggerated movements as you speak and more so as you sing.

Tip #4: Slow and Steady Wins the Race

use a slow but steady pace when practicing your high notes. Start in mid-range and then practice singing higher and higher every time. It is also ideal that you let your vocal chords hit the scale from bottom upwards and then back again. If you feel any discomfort or pain in your throat, cut your practice time short. You have to ensure that you are not straining your voice as you practice because it can get damaged and hinder you to hit any note at all.

Tip #5: Experiment with Your Vowels

Find your vowel. Singers have a particular vowel that works best for them. You have to find yours. This is called vowel modification. Experimental singing will help give you an idea what vowel (Ah, Eh, Ih, Oh, Oo) works best with your singing voice., Once you determine what vowel is working right for you when singing high notes, practice with it. You will be able to modify towards your vowel as you go higher up the scale.

Your Professional Coach to Learn How to Sing Higher Notes

Singing has its technical side and no one could let you in on that side other than a professional voice coach or teacher. You need to be guided by someone who does not only have the experience but the full knowledge on how to sing higher notes and how one can play around with its strengths.

7 Tips to Sing With Power and Resonance

How to Sing with Power and Resonance

When you watch singers on TV belting out high notes and then struggle to do it yourself, it can be very frustrating and at times it just seems impossible to do. However, I was able to learn how to sing with power and resonance thanks to these techniques.

7 Tips to Sing With Power and Resonance

Tip #1 Keep your Throat Relaxed

Don’t squeeze your throat and just keep it relaxed, and at the same time you should perform warm up exercises.

Tip #2 Breath Control

power and resonanceReduce the air flow and try to find your support for your voice instead. When singing powerful tones, you need to find your support but not too much air. Drawing in too much air is one of the most common mistakes made so avoid it.

Tip #3 Balance your Resonance

You should also learn to manage your resonance and try to redirect it in front of your face. One way to do it is by putting your finger below your nose and try to balance and shift your resonance below and above your finger. When you do this you need to make sure it does not fall in your throat. You can tell where the resonance is by the vibration.

Tip #4 Practice Volume

Chose a pitch you like and softly whine “yay” but keep your tone in place. Now swell the syllable as slowly as you can. After you reach the highest volume slowly bring the volume to the original. Now do the same with the “aa”.

Tip #5 Vocal Warm Ups

Practice doing some vocal warm ups starting at your vocal range’s lower end. Now start singing the “oooh” and slowly modify this to “aah” and raise the notes. You should also learn to sing pentascales, which are the first five notes of any major scale you want up and down.

Tip #6 Learn Your Chords

Learn to sing the root, fifth and third of a chord. When you are doing warm up exercises perform the warm ups in a chromatic manner, that is half a step up. You need to perform these warm up exercises as often as possible.

Tip #7 Hum During Warm Ups

You should also hum during warm ups and try to feel the air as it moves around your face. You know you’re doing it right when you feel the vibrations around your face. If you don’t feel it then you are keeping your voice in your chest. When you do it right you will feel the air around your face and it helps keep vocal cords and throat clear.

While these tips are going to help you get started and help get your voice on the right track it just isn’t enough to harness your full vocal power. I realized this which is why I went online and try to look for some help. I did a lot of research and the one that caught my attention was Singorama by vocal coach and 90’s Australian pop sensation Melanie Alexander.

7 Vocal Agility Tips For Fast Results

Vocal Agility Training

Maybe you can sing a little but are having trouble expanding your vocal agility, and I can share your frustration as I once there too. However I was able to overcome it by performing vocal exercises like the ones I listed below. While they won’t turn you into a singer overnight, they do help when it comes to vocal enhancements.

7 Vocal Agility Tips

Tip 1: Be Aware of Your Posture

Take the proper posture: stand erect and your feet should be shoulder apart. This posture doesn’t just look good but helps you sing. This will allow you to breathe and sing comfortably provided your chest is up high.

Tip 2: Breath Control for Vocal Agility

Vocal Agility CoachBreathe correctly: don’t breathe in rapid quick bursts as it will affect your performance. This is tied in to tip number 1 as improper posture can affect the way you breathe, so always keep that in mind.

Tip 3: Confidence is King

Sing with confidence: don’t worry about what other people think. Just keep practicing and ignore anyone who says you cannot sing. One way to track your progress is to record your voice and you will notice the improvements that you are making.

Tip 4: Warm Up is Essential

Try different vocal warm up exercises: warm up exercises are very important and how you do them is crucial too. Begin by singing in your middle range then the low and high range and then end in the middle range. Now you just have to repeat it.

Tip 5: Practice Your Vowels

Pronounce those vowels right: pronounce all the vowels at high, low and in-between. You should also learn to sing the first vowel for as long as comfortably possible and then proceed to the second vowel.

Tip 6: Practice Scale

Work on the scales: if pitching is the problem, you need to practice the scale 30 minutes a day. This will fortify your vocal muscles and provide you with the control you need to sing high notes.

The key to practicing scales correctly is knowing your vocal range, as this will make things simpler. For the best result, it is best if you practice every day as it is the only way to develop your vocal range.

Tip 7: Stay Away from Alcohol and Cigarettes – Health Matters

Stay healthy: this is very important. This means avoid smoking as it will damage your lungs and your vocals, and drink lots of water rather than sodas. Stay away from Alcohol. You should also avoid straining when you practice as it might damage your chords.

I can attest to the fact that those tips I mentioned have enhanced my vocal agility but it wasn’t quite enough. Because of this fact I had to go online and look for a program that could help me out. In the course of my research I came across Singorama, a comprehensive one of a kind vocal training program.
